Will you give suggestions on what to wear and where to take photos?

Yep! I tailor my recommendations for each person to match the look & feel they are hoping to articulate in their photos – we’ll find that out together, and I make the process easy.

Do you help with crafting profile text?

I’m here to help – but photos are my specialty. Feel free to email me if you’re getting writer’s block & maybe I’ll give it a shot!

What is your normal turn-around time?

Your proofing gallery will be available 1 week from the date of your shoot, and your retouched images will be ready 2 days from the date you select them from the gallery.

Do you travel for photo shoots?

For the “let’s go on a trip” sessions, yes. I travel to Orange County ($200 additional), Los Angeles ($350 additional), and San Francisco/San Jose ($600 additional).

You’re more expensive than everyone else. Why should I pay more for you?

I won’t deny that other photographers can & do produce quality photos with great lighting. And there are cheaper options for sure. You’re investing in yourself through me because of my experience behind the wheel specifically in the realm of dating photos. If the content on my about page (link) did not convey that, and you still don’t recognize the difference in my attention to detail – the last thing I would remark is that the person you’re hoping to attract will recognize it. It’s that kind of trust that you’re placing in me that while you may not be able to see it (I’m guessing the reason you’re here is that your existing photos haven’t gotten you the results you want), you can rest assured that my know-how will tailor the best results for you that aren’t just “good looking photos.” They carry heart & context with them.

I’m a business man and I’m considering trying to negotiate – should I email you?

Sure! A lot of my clients are affluent men who value their time and have become successful in their paths that have included negotiating along the way. However, to quote one of my past clients “the guy held firm and didn’t haggle. He knew his price and was convicted in it – that’s how you know it’s the real deal.” I love talking business and ROI’s, so would be happy to chat. And I know that my photos will get you an ROI in your bumble/tinder/hinge matches. So based on that ROI, I don’t negotiate 🙂

I’m not photogenic and I hate taking photos. Do you help with posing?

Yes. I would say that close to 60% of people I photograph come in saying the exact same thing, so you are not alone! Last year, a guy came to me saying he felt un-photogenic and days after the shoot – he was submitting photos to a modeling agency. (I’m not kidding.) While this is an extreme, I can confidently say that I’ll make the process easy, enjoyable, and deliver photos for you that you’ll think in your head, “Oh awesome” “I look badass” and if you’re a girl, “OMG I look good!” “I love my hair!” And while I can say only so much about my own work, here’s a clip of one of my clients reacting to seeing her photos for the first time:
